Summer Nights is The Blue Room Theatre’s curated program of theatre and performance, taking place as part of Western Australia’s biggest annual arts festival – FRINGE WORLD. In 2019, the festival will run from 18 January to 17 February.
With the aim of presenting high-quality, diverse and contemporary live events within the FRINGE WORLD environment, Summer Nights is our opportunity to showcase what’s next in independent performance, from our own backyard and around the world.
Artists from around the corner and across the globe are invited to submit works that excite, inspire, and provoke to fill our venues for four wonderful weeks over the balmy Perth summer. Whether they’re heartfelt stories, genre-defying spectaculars, intimate experiments or tried and tested audience pleasers, we want to hear about them all.
